DR. MURRAY SURRENDERING TO AUTHORITIES

The late pop icon Michael Jackson's personal physician Conrad Murray will appear in court Friday morning, surrendering to authorities seven months after the singer's sudden death, local reports said yesterday.

Meanwhile, Jackson's sister La Toya has hit out at the apparent involuntary manslaughter charge. She says Murray should face the more serious charge of premeditated manslaughter, which carries a heftier sentence.

Ed Chernoff, one of three lawyers hired by Murray to help him with the imminent lawsuit said Murray will turn himself in so as to cooperate with the authorities.

I concur wholeheartedly with La Toya, except my choice for Murray would be a charge of Depraved Indifference.
As a physician, he should have known:

1. Not to administer an anesthetic (Propofol) in a home setting.
2. Anesthesia requires heart monitoring, as well as pulse monitoring.
3. Not to leave your patient ALONE, not for one minute, let alone 47 minutes.

4. Do not perform CPR on a bed. Instead, move the patient to the hard floor.

Justice for Michael.
